Modern Kicks Comedy Presents... Sleepaway Camp: LIVE Accidental Comedy's benefit for Puerto Rico

  • The Winchester Music Tavern 12112 Madison Avenue Lakewood, OH, 44107 United States (map)

Accidental Comedy and Modern Kicks Comedy are proud to present...SLEEPAWAY CAMP - LIVE - a benefit for Puerto Rican hurricane relief

On October 25th at the Winchester Music Tavern, come see a live staged reading of the 1983 cult horror classic SLEEPAWAY CAMP - the movie with horned-up teens, angry camp councilors, people taking "wicked dumps" and one of the craziest ending scenes ever to hit the multiplex.

We've gathered some of Cleveland's best comedians, actors, designers and entertainers to perform the whole movie onstage, complete with live music and acted-out kill scenes, featuring the lowest-grade special effects possible. It's going to be great.

PERFORMERS WILL INCLUDE:
James Earl Brassfield (Pizza Money)
Jasmyn Carter (Accidental Comedy)
Tim Cornett (Hello Mr President, It's Me Tim)
Alan Cox (The Alan Cox Show)
Zachariah Durr (Keep Talking)
Jimmie Graham (Accidental Comedy)
Brittany Hudak (CAN Journal)
Micheal Ivy (Laughs on FOX)
Katy Kosman (Valley Cruise Press)
Erika Lauren (The Alan Cox Show)
Aaron McBride (Last Call Cleveland)
Aaron Sechrist (OK Pants)
Mike Polk Jr. (The Mike Polk Jr Show)
Adam Richard (Keep Talking)
Bill Squire (The Alan Cox Show)
Michael Strenk (Accidental Comedy)
Laura Wimberly (Faces of Cleveland)
Matt Zitelli (Last Call Cleveland)

With LIVE music by Matthew Dolan!

Tickets are $10 at the door - and all ticket sales will go to direct-assistance relief organizations to provide incredibly important help to the hurricane victims of Puerto Rican inner-cities.
There will also be raffled bundle items available, so bring plenty of extra cash to get in on those sweet babies.
Additionally our favorite bartender / eye roller Lia Massari has stated that she will be donating half of her tip money for the evening as well. So this should encourage you to bring out your inner alchoholic...It's for a good cause.

Come before the show, get dinner and see what we promise will be one of the greatest re-enactments of an early-80's camp-themed horror movies ever.
